Purpose of the POWR:
To promote the field of Professional Organizing and to provide the
public with information on various products and services offered within this field.
What is it?
The web ring is a web site that consists of links to other
professional organizers' web sites. It's purpose is to help individual internet
browsers locate and find professional organizers on the world wide web.
The web ring allows internet users to locate many professional
organizers without having to do numerous searches or needing to know individual web site
addresses.
How does it work?
When the web site of any participating professional organizer is
visited, the Web Ring logo is accessible and provides a link to the
Web Ring. This allows the browser to have access to the products and services of
many professional organizers.
Why Join?
As a member of the POWR, a
Professional Organizer benefits by having greater exposure to Internet Users who
may not have been looking for that particular organizer but who may have found
them through the POWR. It also allows the Professional Organizer’s website to
be found quickly and easily. When any POWR member's website is found and
visited, the Web Ring’s POWR Link Logo is accessible and provides a link to
the Web Ring. This allows the browser to have access to the products and
services of many professional organizers. PO’s who offer products can benefit
a great deal since location of the business is not necessarily a factor when
purchasing a product. A browser can see which companies offer products by
reading the member's listing description and then get the details by going to
the company site.

Types
of Membership
Basic (for Professional Organizers with a
Website)
If you currently have a
company website, you will want a Basic Listing. This allows you to be
listed in our Member Directory under your primary location. Your website
will be linked to and from the Professional Organizers Web Ring.
Fee:
$75.00/year billed annually.
Basic with Profile (for Professional Organizers without a
Website)
If you currently do not have a company website, you will want a
Basic with Profile Listing. This allow you to have a one page company
website in our Member Directory under your primary location. Your Profile
will be linked to and from the Professional Organizers Web Ring. For more

Additional
Membership Services
Multiple Listing
If you offer services in
more than one location, you may want a multiple listing. This allows you
to have your company listed in numerous locations. For example, if your primary
place of business is Pennsylvania but you also do business in New Jersey and
Delaware, your basic listing would be Pennsylvania and your Multiple Listings
would under New Jersey and Delaware.
Fee: $35.40/yr
in addition to your basic service.
POWR'd Up
Add eye-catching and descriptive icons to your membership
listing(s). A
POWR'd Up Listing gives your current listing a few added features to draw
attention to your company. You may choose up to six icons to represent the
specialty areas of organizing that your company provides. You also get a
scrolling marquee which can include any type of text your choose, such as,
special discounts, company events, slogan or motto's, etc. This marquee
can be updated as often as you like for a minimal fee. When you're POWR'd
